Ooty is one the coolest place in Tamil Nadu. It is called as Queen of hills. It is situated in the mountain called Nilgiris or Blue Mountain . Every year many tourists are visiting Ooty. The climate here is very cool which mostly 15-20 degree Celsius. There are many tourist places in Ooty which attracts the people, which makes people to visit Ooty every year. The botanical garden in Ooty which consist of different varieties of flowers and rared species of plants is a beauty and wonder. Every year they are conducting Flower shows to increase the number of tourist people visiting the place.

    Ooty Hill Station is one of the mot exotic places to come and enjoy in the South. Established during the times of the British period as a place of escape from the heat of the plains, this place has grown to be quite popular over time, with tourists from aboard and people in India.

    Ooty also know as the ‘Queen of Hill Stations’, is situated in the Nilgiris in South India. It lies at an altitude of, 240 meters above sea level and is surrounded by thick vegetation, tea gardens and eucalyptus trees. Some of the forest areas in Ooty and its surroundings are restricted and require special permission for exploration. The annual Tea and Tourism Festival bring in huge crowds here.

    The nearest airport is in the city of Coimbatore. Ooty can be reached via rail from Chennai and Mettupalayam. There are a lot of bus services available to Ooty from Chennai, Tirupur, Salem, Dindigal, Madurai, Trichi, Thanjvur, Knayakumari and Satyamangalam.
